Statement regarding display of DHS Secretary Kristi Noem video on TSA monitor at Bismarck Airport

Update 10/21/2025: TSA has informed the airport that the video is once again being displayed. Programming decisions for TSA-managed equipment are made by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

A video featuring Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem addressing the government shutdown was recently displayed on a monitor located inside the terminal for a short period of time. This monitor is owned and managed by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and the airport has no oversight of the content shown. A TSA official notified the airport that the video is no longer being displayed.

Programming decisions for TSA-managed equipment are made by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
