Airport to Increase Parking Rates
Effective January 1, 2016 the Bismarck Airport will increase the rates for all three of the airport’s parking lots. It has been eight years since the last parking rate increase. The 2016 increase puts the Bismarck Airport into a range comparable with other airports across the region.
Current Rate Rate Effective January 1, 2016
Short Term Lot

Each ½ Hour $1.00 Each ½ Hour $1.50
Daily Maximum $8.00 Daily Maximum $10.00
Long Term Lot
Each Hour $1.00 Each Hour $1.00
Daily Maximum $7.00 Daily Maximum $8.00
Weekly Maximum $35.00 Weekly Maximum $40.00
Economy Lot
Each Hour $1.00 Each Hour $1.00
Daily Maximum $6.00 Daily Maximum $7.00
Weekly Maximum $30.00 Weekly Maximum $35.00
The three lots can accommodate 1,150 vehicles for passengers traveling out of the Bismarck Airport. The short term lot is the closest to the terminal and is commonly used for passenger pickup and drop off, or by those conducting business in the terminal. However the short term lot can be used by airline passengers who want to park close to the terminal. The long term lot is most commonly used because of the proximity as well as its moderate cost. The economy lot is the most cost effective option for parking at the airport but is the furthest from the terminal. The airport parking lots do not have a maximum stay and can be used by all airport and airline customer for an unlimited amount of days.
Although the new rates take effect on January 1, 2016, customers who park at the airport before January 1st and don’t return until after the 1st will be charged the old rate for the duration of their stay.
Customers who are not familiar with the parking options or locations are encouraged to visit the Bismarck Airport’s website www.bismarckairport.com for more information.
