BISMARCK AIRPORT TO CONDUCT FULL SCALE EMERGENCY EXERCISE

(Bismarck, ND)- On Tuesday, September 15, 2015 beginning at 1:30 pm the Bismarck Airport will conduct a full scale emergency airfield exercise that will test the Bismarck Airport’s Emergency Plan along with the plans of supporting mutual aid agencies in the event an aircraft accident occurs at the Bismarck Airport.

The exercise is intended to allow area hospitals, fire, police, and emergency preparedness officials, in conjunction with Airport personnel, to practice their emergency roles in response to a simulated aircraft emergency.

Citizens should expect to see fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, and other official vehicles engaged in the emergency exercise. The public is cautioned not to be alarmed by this activity.
