2019 Airport Master Plan

The Bismarck Airport updated its airport master plan in 2019. The airport master plan examines the Airport’s needs over a 20-year period and includes a detailed focus on numerous areas of interest which will have a bearing on the management and development of the Airport over the short, medium, and long-term period. The Bismarck Airport Master Plan was developed using the Federal Aviation Administration’s Advisory Circular 150/5070-6B, entitled “Airport Master Plans” (PDF). This plan demonstrates the long-term commitment of the City of Bismarck and Airport staff to provide first-class facilities for the airport’s users - all while maintaining a focus on cost and benefit.  The master plan, executive summary, chapters and appendices can be viewed by clicking the links below.
