Bismarck Airport Terminal planners have made traffic flow and convenience a primary design objective for the terminal. Recent improvements mean traffic flow has been segregated and travelers face less congestion at the terminal entrance.
Rental cars depart on a separate road and taxis, buses, and shuttles have a passenger pickup area facilitating less congestion. Twenty minutes of free parking in the short-term lot also reduces congestion at the terminal curbside entrance.
